About Thomas R. Schiff
Tom Schiff’s unwavering support and passion for JBBBSLA extends across all mentoring and camp programs. He is a uniting force at the agency among staff, board members, and donors. Tom has been an active board member at JBBBSLA for 10 years. Tom and his wife, Robbi, recently co-chaired the 2013 Big Event which was an unbelievable success thanks to their dedication and spirit. Tom currently serves as the Chairman of the Camp Max Straus’ Camp Committee and is focused on ensuring that more than 1000 underserved children each year have truly transformative camp experiences. He has been married for over 20 years to his wife, Robbi, and they have two children, Matthew and Olivia.
About Camp Max Straus
Camp Max Straus is a non-sectarian, summer residential camp located on 112 acres in the spectacular Verdugo Mountains of Glendale, California. From June to August, Camp Max Straus offers seven sessions, each session is five days long. Camp Max Straus features sports, art and recreation activities that include: archery, swimming, dance, music, drama, arts & crafts, photography, hikes, horseback riding, animal care, nature, games, cooking and gardening – to name a few.
